"PRETEND PASSION" PROJECT

Module 12, Day 1.
Date :- 25th March, 2021. 

INTRODUCTION
"PRETEND PASSION" project. In this project we have choose a topic from "Appendix - B".
 Our team have chosen "Robotic Technologist "profession for our project.

Robotic Technologist


Robotic engineering is a field of engineering that builds machines that reflect human actions. 

        Robotics is the intersection of science, engineering and technology that produces machines, it's called         (Robots 🤖).   These robots consist mainly of mechanical arms tasks with welding and screwing on parts of a car. 

     

Parts of robot : 

  1. Pre- programmed robots:-Pre-programmed robots are that have to be told ahead of time what to do, and then they simply execute that program. They cannot change their behaviour while they are working, and no human is guiding their actions.

  2. Humanoid robots:- A humanoid robot is a robot with its body shape built to the human body. The design may be for functional purposes, interacting with human tools and environments and for experimental purposes.

  3. Autonomous robots:-An autonomous robot, also known as simply an autorobot or autobot, is a robot that performs behaviours or tasks with a high degree of autonomy.

  4. Teleoperated robots:-Teleoperated robots are remotely controlled robots, they might have some sort of Artificial Intelligence, but normally they take their command from a human operator.

  5. Augmenting robots:-Augmenting robots generally enhance capabilities that a person already has or replace capabilities that a person has lost.


Application of robotics: 

  • Helping fight forest fires.

  • Working as co - bots.

  • Championship to elderly.

  • Surgical assistant.

  • Search and rescue mission after natural disaster.

A qualified robotic engineer will find increasing employment opportunities in areas like manufacturing industries, agricultural equipment manufacturing firms, mining industry, nuclear power plants, research division of mechanical, electrical engineering firms, sea exploration, space research organizations, biomedical equipment manufacturing firms, gaming industry and many more.

Salary Expectation

India: The average salary of a robotics software engineer ranges from US$ 289.91 – US$ 14,495.50 per year.

US: The average salary of a robotic software engineer ranges from US$ 87,000 – US$ 128,500 per year.

* Math and Science
Mathematics as one of the only core robotics skills. mathematics Algebra and calculus and science are critical for a successful career in robotics.

* Programming
Robotics requires knowledge of popular programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and Java.

* Working on a Team
Robotics is technical work, but certain soft skills are beneficial. In particular, being a team player is essential

* Solving Complex Problems

If it’s a software issue, you’ll need to be ready to look for errors or bugs in the code. And if it isn’t immediately clear what the issue is, you’ll need to put your problem-solving skills to work to assess the situation and find a possible solution.

* Thinking Creatively 
A little bit of creativity can go a long way for a robotics professional. It can be beneficial for solving problems, such as using an existing part in a new way or coming up with a brand-new design.

* Active Learning
The field of robotics is always changing. There are new programming languages to learn, new AI concepts to test, and new and more durable materials to work with. A robotics engineer can demonstrate their value by constantly learning about these changes and applying them to new fields of robotics.

 In what ways do you see your pretend Passion benefiting your community (Come+Unity) at large?



(Answer-1)

(As we know, the time to come will be the time of inventions and the modern era and everyone will be aware of how difficult life is without machines and if I talk about Robot, "Robots Technologist" are helpful for community in the following ways like)

*Robots produce more accurate, high quality work and rarely make mistakes.
Example:- Robot is very helpful in medical work because it reduces the chances of mistake.
*They can produce a greater quantity in a short amount of time and They can work at a constant speed without any  breaks like- days off, or holiday time.
Example:-Robot can work tirelessly in industries, it will produce more

*Robots save workers from performing dangerous tasks. They can work in hazardous conditions, such as poor lighting, toxic chemicals, or in spaces.
They are capable of lifting heavy loads without injury or feel weary.

*Robots save time and They also reduce the amount of wasted material used due to their accuracy.Robots produce more in less time.It helps in disposing of waste thus saving time.

 (Summary)
Robots save workers from performing dangerous tasks. They can work in hazardous conditions like poor lighting, toxic chemicals, or in spaces. They are capable of lifting heavy loads without injury or tiring. Robots increase worker safety by preventing accidents.

In 50 years when you will look back upon your life how would you like your self to be remembered for your contribution to society, country and world?

As a Robot technologist, we made many machine Which is technically advance.


Example-If I make a robot that works in heavy industries, then it can reduce the chances of danger to the people and this can only be possible through the Robot Technologist.


Thus we can also understand other examples that robot manufacturing sector contributes to the medical field agriculture sector which is possible only by Robot Technologist.


Whenever people talk about the future and the modern era, they will remember the contribution made by the 🤖 ROBOT Technologist by them.
